REPORT ON COURTESY VISIT TO THE ADMINISTRATION AFTER MASJID OPENING CEREMONY

On Friday, 21st November 2025, the leadership of the IPAM Muslim Jama’ah paid a formal courtesy visit to the administration of the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) in the DVC’s Conference Room. The visit followed the successful opening of the newly constructed IPAM Campus Masjid and served as an opportunity to express the Jama’ah’s gratitude for the institution’s unwavering support throughout the project.

The delegation included Guest Scholar Sheikh Farouk Adam Bah, Former Chief Imam Abdul Karim, and members of the IPAM Muslim Jama’ah Executive, who were received by administrative staff of the institution. The presence of these key figures underscored the importance of the engagement and the shared commitment to strengthening collaboration between the Muslim student community and the university administration.

During the visit, the Jama’ah leadership conveyed their appreciation for the administration’s role in enabling the completion of the Masjid, which now stands as an important center for spiritual growth, moral refinement, and community cohesion on campus. Sheikh Farouk Adam Bah, in his remarks, highlighted the significance of the Masjid as a space that will nurture responsible leadership, promote unity among Muslim students, and reinforce the values of discipline, integrity, and upright conduct.

The administration, represented by the Deputy Registrar and supporting staff, welcomed the delegation and commended the Jama’ah for their dedication to enhancing the campus environment. They acknowledged the Masjid as a meaningful contribution to the university’s development and encouraged the continued display of exemplary character that aligns with both institutional standards and Islamic principles.

The meeting concluded on a cordial and cooperative note, reaffirming mutual respect and a shared vision for fostering spiritual wellbeing, moral excellence, and positive engagement among students. The visit further strengthened the relationship between the IPAM Muslim Jama’ah and the administration, setting a foundation for sustained collaboration in advancing the overall welfare of the campus community.
