- Obafemi Davies, a Senior Lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department attended a short course on “Project Management Essentials” from 12 to 16 March 2018 at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana organized by the Regional Water and Environmental Sanitation Centre, Kumasi (RWESCK), Ghana.
- Assiatu A. Jalloh, a Research and Teaching Assistant in the Mechanical and Maintenance Engineering Department participated in the Power Africa Young Women Training Programme between 1 and 26 October 2018 in South Africa organized by the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) and sponsored by USAID.
- Michael A. Conteh, a Senior Lecturer in the Mechanical and Maintenance Engineering Department attended a Patent Drafting Course in Zimbabwe between 3 and 7 September2018. The course was organised by the World Intellectual Property Organization, in Cooperation with African Regional Intellectual Property Organization and with the assistance of the Japan Patent Office under the Funds in Trust Arrangement for Africa and Least Developed Countries.
