The Institute of Public Administration & Management (IPAM) was established in 1972 as a specialized institution dedicated to training Sierra Leone's future public sector leaders and civil servants. For over five decades, IPAM has been at the forefront of public administration education in the country.

To provide quality education and training in public administration, management, and governance, producing competent professionals who will contribute effectively to national development and public service excellence.
