EXTENSION OF DEADLINE FOR ONLINE APPLICATION FOR THE 2025/2026 SESSION

The University of Sierra Leone wishes to inform the general public that the deadline to pay for the online application processing fee at the banks for admission into Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses at the University of Sierra Leone (FBC, COMAHS, IPAM & SPGS) for the 2025/2026 session has been extended to a date that will be communicated.

The Portal also makes provision for application into the University’s eLearning Master’s programmes in Business Administration, Journalism & Media Studies, Communication & Development Studies, and Public Relations & Marketing Communication.

Prospective applicants can pay for an application processing fee at the Union Trust Bank, Sierra Leone Commercial Bank, Commerce and Mortgage Bank(CMB), Rokel Commercial Bank and Access Bank in Freetown or any of their branches in the regions at the cost of Le 500.00 (five hundred Leones) for Undergraduate (Certificates, Diplomas & Bachelor’s Degrees) and Le 600.00 (Six hundred Leones) for Postgraduate Courses (Postgraduate Diplomas, Masters & PhDs) respectively.

Applicants are advised to visit the University of Sierra Leone website www.usl.edu.si for details of the entry requirements into the various Programmes, Faculties, Departments and Colleges.

Applicants awaiting publication of their WASSCE Results are also encouraged to apply.

Diploma and Certificate courses at the University of Sierra Leone are terminal programmes. Applicants from Diploma or Certificate Programmes who wish to apply for Degree Programmes must have the University’s minimum entry requirements.
