Faculty of Clinical Sciences and Dentistry
This is the most senior faculty in the sense that students admitted into this faculty must have completed the three (3) year basic medical programme from the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences which prepares them with the scientific basis for their medical or dental training.
The faculty runs the third MBChB professional programme and is currently working with the other faculties for the development of an undergraduate dental programme (BDS). In addition, this faculty runs a postgraduate degree programme in Public Health (MPH).
The faculty currently has six (6) departments namely: Surgery, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics and Child Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Community Medicine, and Dentistry.
