B.Sc. PUBLIC SECTOR MANAGEMENT

The programme is designed primarily for students wishing to enter into careers in the fields of public and private administration. It prepares middle level managers to work in the civil service and in the development sector. The course is open to aspiring applicants from diverse disciplinary background (Arts, Commercial and Sciences) inclined to addressing the challenges facing governments, public and private organizations from managerial and leadership perspective.

Public Sector Management graduates will be involved in an array of activities ranging from planning, formulating and implementing policies, programmes and projects for the delivery of goods and services to the nation through a number of governmental and quasi-governmental institutions as well as Non-Governmental Organizations.

Programme Entry Requirements

Candidates must possess 5 (five) GCE O’Level / WASSCE credits with a C5 or better in English Language and C6 or better in Mathematics plus any 3(three) other subjects among the following:

History, Government, CRK,/Islamic Studies, Economics, Business Management, Accounting, Literature, Biology/Health Science,Agriculture.
