Rev. Oliver Harding is a Regentonian and a Fourahbite. Among his academic qualifications (secular and sacred) are: Four HSK certificates in Chinese proficiency
(中国证书) from the Confucius Institute, Beijing; several diplomas in religious studies, B.A. Hons. (History), Postgraduate Diploma & Master of Arts in Library, Archive & Information Studies and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies.
He was appointed as a Trainee Librarian at Fourah Bay College in March 1992, currently serves the college as Senior and Acting College Librarian and has been lecturing at the Institute of Library, Information and Communication Studies (INSLICS) since 2000. He was also appointed as Acting Local Director of the Confucius Institute at Fourah Bay College on 1st January 2021.
He served as Deputy Librarian at the West Africa Theological Seminary, Lagos during his theological studies. He is an IVL (International Visiting Leader), a USA exchange programme. He has served as Vice President (2006-2008) and President (2008-2010) of the Sierra Leone Association of Archivists, Librarians and Information Professionals (SLAALIP). He served the Sierra Leone Library Board in different capacities (between 2005 and 2018) as board member, executive board member and acting chairman.
Rev. Harding is a musician that plays several instruments including the organ, trombone, baritone, violin, hulusi etc. He won the first Chinese cultural competition organised by the Confucius Institute at Fourah Bay College in 2014. He is the Secretary of the International Full Gospel Fellowship, IFGF, (Sierra Leone and West Africa) and is Senior Pastor of IFGF Pentecost Evangelical Ministries. He is a member of the Sierra Leone Red Cross. His marriage (to Francess) in 1996 is blessed with two adult children (Olivia and Francis).
As an academic subject librarian, he has several publications to his credit.

Dr. Abdulai Walon-Jolloh
He has been lecturing Syntax and Foundation Studies in the Department of Language Studies since 2000. His research interests are Syntax, Sierra Leonean Languages and particularly the grammar of Fula and Krio.
